Students who were members of Phi Theta Kappa while in community college can reap the benefits in scholarships at ±«Óătvby joining the Phi Theta Kappa Alumni Chapter.
The key to being awarded the Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship is being involved in your community college’s Phi Theta Kappa before you transfer. You must earn and maintain a 3.5 GPA for eligibility to enter the Phi Theta Kappa chapter at your community or junior college.
When you are ready to apply to Mississippi College, indicate in the appropriate field on the application if you are a Phi Theta Kappa member. Once your membership is verified, Phi Theta Kappa members living on campus at ±«Óătvwill receive $12,500 per year; off-campus Phi Theta Kappa members will receive $10,000 per year*. The buck doesn't stop there. You may also be eligible for stackable scholarships, the ±«ÓătvGrant, or our . It literally pays to maintain a good GPA and participate in community service projects.

Phi Theta Kappa at Mississippi College
Flash forward and now you are a student at MC. Our Phi Theta Kappa Alumni chapter is a large and lively group! The organization collectively meets the first Thursday of every month. You must maintain a 3.0 GPA and complete two service projects per year in order to remain active in our Phi Theta Kappa Chapter and to receive the Phi Theta Kappa scholarship.
Every semester our chapter participates in fundraisers and community service projects with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Keep Jackson Beautiful, Mississippi Food Network, Blood Drives, and the Metro Jackson Heart Walk.
