Celebrating new beginnings for the ±«ÓãtvTennis Program
±«Óãtvtennis alums gather at the Latimer House for a luncheon.
The ±«ÓãtvFoundation was excited to host a luncheon for Mississippi College alumni tennis players in the Jackson metropolitan area. The former players met Michael Ward, MC’s new tennis coach, and Kenny Bizot, ±«Óãtvathletic director.
I am excited to coach tennis at a university where our campus leadership prioritizes relationships not only with current students but also with previous students. It feels like a true family when we can gather with multiple generations of ±«Óãtvtennis players and hear stories about the history of ±«Óãtvtennis, talk about our current program, and discuss our vision to build a national championship tennis program. I believe this vision is possible because of our campus leadership and because of the community of ±«Óãtvalumni who are dedicated to our growth. I am motivated by my conversations with our alumni to work hard to build character in our student athletes and help push them to excellence

±«ÓãtvHead Tennis Coach
±«ÓãtvPresident Blake Thompson visited with alumni and gave an update of exciting things happening at MC. Following his presentation, Coach Ward provided an update on the ±«Óãtvtennis program. He shared details about the players and their statistics from last season and praised the program’s growth.
The alumni left the luncheon encouraged and excited to reconnect with our growing tennis program.
